We have an opportunity to preserve and restore an important community landmark while preparing it to serve the Northshore of Chattanooga for future generations.
COMMUNITY
The most vital and vibrant part of St. Marks Church through the years has always been her people. As much as we love our historic building, the church is primarily about the community of people it serves and those who call it home.
For more than 100 years now, St. marks has been a gathering place for the community to gather for worship, service, education, social gatherings, and more. It is a place to connect with one another, to form bonds of faith and friendship, and to serve in ways that better our community for us all.

Our Here for Good capital campaign will help us preserve this community landmark.
It will renew our presence in the community, making SMC more welcoming, visually appealing, functional - restoring what time has worn down, breathing new life into a place that has cared for generations of those who live and work on Chattanooga's Northshore.
SMC is a place that built around people - whether it's our Roots Student Ministry, or our partnership with Willow Primary. SMC is a place where families and friends gather to worship, to connect with our neighbors, and to serve our local community.
At St. Marks, we believe that everyone deservers a place where they are warmly welcomed and loved for who they are. We seek to create a sacred space where people can connect and experience a sense of holy belonging.
